Holiday links

Looking for a few feminist reads over this holiday season? We’ve got you covered! As this year comes to a close, many websites are taking a look back on 2013. Some see hope, others are less optimistic… we’ll leave it up to you to decide.




TIME Newsfeed posted a video compilation by The Representation Project to call attention to ways the media failed women in 2013. Check the article here:

Buzzfeed focused on the positive with “30 women who kicked ass in 2013,” highlighting Malala Yousafazi, Pussy Riot members, Jennifer Lawrence, Senator Elizabeth Warren and more.


Website Policy Mic brought us the “46 Most Iconic LGBT Moments of 2013,” including the legalization of gay marriages in various states or countries, celebrities coming out, and Russians fighting back
